The development will provide around 430 high-quality homes, forming part of Exeter’s planned urban expansion. Designed to create a sustainable, well-connected community, the site benefits from close links to the M5 corridor, local amenities, and Pinhoe Rail Station, as well as open green spaces and pedestrian-friendly layouts.
Trojan Paving Limited has been appointed to undertake block paving and hard landscaping works across key areas of the development, including adoptable highways, private drives, shared spaces, and parking courts. Our scope of works supports the infrastructure and finishing stages, ensuring durability, consistency, and a premium visual standard throughout the scheme.
Working closely with Bloor Homes, the main contractor, and our trusted partners, Trojan Paving delivers full supply-and-labour paving packages, combining efficiency, precision, and compliance with all current quality and safety standards.

Barne Barton, once the UK’s largest naval housing estate, is located in St Budeaux, Plymouth, beside the Tamar River. The project envisions a sustainable neighborhood with around 204 high-quality new homes, combining flats and houses and delivered as a 100% affordable housing scheme.
Our involvement includes precise block paving and infrastructure works across key community spaces, roads, and green corridors. The regeneration prioritises people-friendly streets, accessible public spaces, and a “green route” design connecting residents with nature — some of which our paving solutions help define.
This development has been shaped through close collaboration with residents, architects (Clifton Emery Design, RH Partnerships), designers, and Plymouth City planners — making it one of the first residential-led regeneration schemes in the country to earn Building with Nature “Excellent” accreditation.

Located on the outskirts of Plymouth, Sherford will become a vibrant community of 5,500 homes across three distinct neighbourhoods, supported by four schools, retail outlets, businesses, and extensive public green spaces including a 500-acre Country Park.
Our involvement spans multiple phases, including the recently launched Phase 1B and Phase 2D. These phases cover over 1,200 new homes, major infrastructure works, and family-friendly community spaces. We are responsible for delivering a variety of block paving and hard landscaping solutions across residential streets, shared spaces, and public access areas.
Working closely with Champion Groundworks and other contractors, Trojan Paving provides full supply and labour paving packages. This project comprises 69 100% affordable homes, including one- and two-bedroom maisonettes, bungalows, and two- to four-bedroom houses—split between 36 social rent units and 33 shared ownership properties. The development is set to be completed by summer 2026.
Moonhill Rise stands out as the first site built to Sovereign’s enhanced Homes and Place Standard, with all properties incorporating timber frames, air source heat pumps, photovoltaic solar panels, improved insulation, generous storage, and abundant natural daylight. The development also includes thoughtful green infrastructure and public open space, such as a dedicated play area.
